Question

I have fitted a scoobysport supplied ITG panel filter. What would the difference in performance be if I fitted say a Blitz cone filter???

Blitz does flow more air but on a standard car this cannot always be taken advantage of. I have found that a cone filter provides a more "responsive" engine provided that the fueling is suitable. Some people have reported poor results using induction kits. If you do a search on "Blitz", "cone", "induction" whatever you will find plenty of info/opinion in the archives.

I would disagree Craig.

I went from a std panel to an ITG panel and noticed no difference.

Then I fitted a blitz cone. Much better response and pick up. (Yes and the sound too!)

and thats running on the standard ECU, although I suspect I'll get more from it as soon as i refit my Link ECU.

Have to disagree too.
The difference when I fitted my K&N kit over my old 'Ramair' (then SS recommended) was very noticeable.
I don't think any panel filter will match the performance levels of induction kits.
The rolling road days also seem to demonstrate this.
And the noise is soooooo nice.

Stef.
