I think there is a double P take going on here....

1. The oil change at 1k is under warranty with out a doubt (for new short engine, new car you pay for oil and filter only not labour).

2. £105 for an oil change? What they using a 24c gold sump plug washer

David

Oh and BTW, you can bet your bottom $ they won't get £105 off IM on warranty for an oil change !

All, an FYI for you:

Had my short block replaced under warranty by a certain dealership recently. Returned there yesterday for my 1000 mile oil change.....they only tried to charge me £105.00!!
Got into a heated discussion with the service guy, and at one point the parts department joined in and added their tuppence worth. I stood my ground, much to the amusment of a few customers and in the end rang IM in the middle of the store.......Oil change is covered under warranty....I wonder how many other people were not as adamant as I, nice little earner that, £105 from the customer and £105 from IM.....310 quid for an oil change !!!!

Hi Rich......Yeah, still vibrating :(
They told me it was because the ECU needed resetting and that they had done just that and the problem would resolve itself........I got news for them. Still getting seasick on tickover :(
