I've got a sony 10 disc cd changer. Anyone got some advice/tips of where to put it? (93 WRX saloon)

Bare in mind I've got 2 kids so need plenty of boot space

My current one is a Sony 10 disc. It's suspended under the rear parcel shelf. Convenient to load too.

It seems to keep itself to itself and not interfere with other stuff in the boot. I have more trouble with the hinge loops for the bootlid banging into things.

Put mine, a kenwood under the drivers seat, fits nice and snug , held down with velcro and does not move or skip at all. The other alternative is to mount it on the cross member behind the boot lid, i have seen plenty fitted there with no prob's. The boot hinges ARE a pain in the butt.

I've got mine fixed with velcro to the carpet in the back passenger side of the boot. Flippin thing skips everytime I go over a big bump, so I don't suggest you put it there.

When I get some time, I'm going to remount it under the rear parcel shelf...

Mounted my Kenwood 10 disc in the left of the boot, in the vertical position (can still get to the jack and tools). Meant drilling a few holes in the floor though, but nothing below it at that point (rear box far enough away). No problems being there and is easy for access.

Mounted by JVC 12 disc in the boot (up against the rear seat) Ideal because even when the boot is full, all you need to do is lower the seat and you can still change cd's from the inside of the car.

I've just [today] moved my Alpine changer from the boot to under the passenger seat.
