got crappy Avons at the moment 215/40/17's until I get some new ones. What's the recommenede PSI for tyre's on the back and front for a MY01 ?

'Apparently' the car went thru a PDI at a car supermarket and when I checked the pressures yesterday I noticed one of the front tyres was at 40PSI and the other one at 35PSI and the back ones both at 30. I've since put the front to 34 and the back to 32 and this has made a noticeable difference to the tyyres squealing at certain roundabouts

What's the PSI I need ?

Ive got a MY01 WRX front is 33 and rear 32. That's what the book says anyway.

I make that 33/31 on the BP digital air filler thingy

I think you're right 2.2 and 2.1, but then again if you're using a BP air thingy that could really be anything :-) from 1.9 to 2.7!

 

I run 32 all round, because I'm too lazy to change the dial.
