Its an all in one tool Dave. Nothing else needed.

Not sure about keeping AC3 audio, haven't tried. Have a tinker in the Audio Options.

The Vidomi website is a good read. The forum on there is helpfulk too.

Question

After DJ Dunk recommended this to me (and i have now got my new HDD) i am going to try this. Anyone have any helpful hints ??

Does it preserve 5.1 sound or is it converted to stereo ?

Can i just convert straight from DVD to XviD/DivXwi this or do i need things like LAME, DVD Decrypter, etc...

I tell a lie, I ripped mine first with DVD Decrypter then opened the ifo file in Vidomi
