Well you can't use just any keyword, if the parser is expecting more parameters for a certain keyword you'll just get a flashing '?'. RUN USR <num> is how you execute machine code routines, so starting the ROM at location 0 restarts the machine.

Just editing my bad code

Pascal was taught because one of the things it teaches you to do is design your program before you start coding.

My TI99/4A had VCHARs and stuff.

Them were the days!

I got taught Pascal at Collge & Uni on the basis that it was a good structured language to encourage good programming.

Cool

Totally sad as my missus tells me, but, 6031769 is the level skip code for Manic Miner on the Speccy. You then hold down 6 and make binary patterns with the other number keys to select the level.....

If only I could remember half my passwords as well

Oi! Who has nicked my coat!

Thumbs up

beemerboy: Blimey, I remember that, it was for setting the screen and border colour.

Personally my fave is:-

21 00 00
C9

Which is Z80 for
LD HL,0000
RET

I know it's sad, but I used to have to program real time systems in machine code and I can remember most of the op-codes even now.

I used to have the old Spectrum Multiface 3 which allows you to POKE

I remeber deleted an old school teachers work by mistake on the BBC and with a mate replace it with
10 print "i love s*x"
20 goto 10
run

On the BBC you could use '?' instead of print, the C64 also had BASIC shortcuts, that was pretty cool.

Delphi is basically Pascal on steroids, and we use Delphi here.
