I keep getting this advertisement pop-up that appears randomly...
Its not related to MSN messenger - although it says 'messenger service'.... I presume some website has hijacked my IP number and then written something into my system registry ??

Anyone know how to get rid of it - its driving me up the wall !

At a guess try Ad-Aware from Lavasoft which I use to great effect with this kind of problem.

Installed the anti-pop up program but the damn things keeps coming up !
As I said - it comes up even without the explorer running - so it must be a program that is running in the background....

have you got anti-spyware software running on your PC? it's a must with broadband. have a look at www.lavasoftusa.com for Ad-Aware and www.safersite.com for PestPatrol.
