Anyone got any great ideas about the best way to face 2 10" JL Audio 10W6 subs in the boot? I don't want to cut metal of the parcel shelf, but could be persuaded to perforate the back of a seat if necessary...

Any practical experience of the merits of facing subs sideways at the front of the boot, or firing into the seats, or firing backwards out of the boot (worked well in a R19 16V.., but will it work best in the Scoob?) appreciated before I cover myself, the garage and the car in MDF dust.

You could do what I have.

Two tens in a push pull config in a tiny bandpass box, right under the parcel shelf.

Remove the rear speakers and place the port in line with one of the holes.

Works great for me and takes up no boot space.

Only trouble is the JL is not known for its ability in small enclosures, although thats not the way they advertise it.
