What is the best price anyone has come across for a PS2 console? I have found a couple of retailers who have it available at 264.99 Any better than that??

£264.99 seems fair

Their gonna do a £299.99 package when GT3-A Spec comes out, for both the game and the console.

Anyone already with a logitech FF wheel (USB) should be able to play with that, instead of buying the official GT3 wheel which is a tweeked version of the same wheel.
