This is a very strange (and, I admit, a little sad) question but it's been bugging me for the last couple of weeks.

Does anyone know what's happened to the rest of the team on the Virgin Radio Breakfast Show? It's just Chris Evans and that dope Webbo. Where have Holly, Johnny Boy etc. disappeared to? Has there been some major falling out with Chris Evans sacking everyone?

They all handed their notices in around the time he pi$$ed off to Vegas and married Billie.

All left at the same time to pursue other stuff. At least thats what they said officially.

 

I'm trying to find out what happened to Steve Jackson from Kiss 100. Listened at one work place for a year, left, couple years later got fed up with Capital and went to Kiss and found Bam Bam breakfast show complete with Street Boy.

Any one know what happened?

Apparently Chris Evans sacked them as they were getting "stale".

The show had lost over 100,000 listeners during the last quarter.

Is this true?

I have been away for a bit, heard about the Billie thing and came back to find just Chris and Webbo. Assumed the rest were on hols after the wedding thinking that they must have 'been in on it' but stayed back to keep the media away.

Any links on this?

from what i remember, steve jackson was escorted off the premises one morning and told not to return. it was around the time the station was sold by gordon mac to one of the media companies.

they just didnt want him any more and hired in some heavies to make sure he didnt try anything. well out of order as steve jackson was superb on the radio, and good in the clubs too !!

Out of the "Team" I always thought Webbo was the prat & he who couldn't manage a sports report without f'n up

The rest of them were OK - even Jamie who stood up to Chris sometimes - most of the others didn't. Probably why he got punted out of the studio & down the corridor...

Checked the website last night & found nothing but Johnny Revell is still doing his excellent Friday/Saturday "Wheels Of Steel" show

I can't believe he's sacked thm all - I thought they were all bestest mates??

Chris is the nobber occasionally - webbo was alright in small doses, but the rest were OK.

I too had been wondering where they had all gone....I thought they were on hols....if he keeps webbo full time he'll lose more than 100,000 listeners next quarter believe you me.....!
