Any view's / opinions on breakdown services? I need cover for myself rather than the car, does any one do this?

I think the AA cover you and the RAC cover the car.

 

I've just got my renewal thru from Green flag. 135 quid for the top cover. That is for myself and my wife, driving any car. Taht is an increase over last year despite not having any callouts.

AA will cover me on their Option 300 for 97 quid ('cos i'm a IAM member)

I've got AA, wifey's got green flag and RAC (one for her, one free one for her car.) Every time wifey breaks down green flag are really good about putting in some more petrol in the hole in the back...
I personally think AA are the best. I think it was 85 quid this year. They cover me in any car, and if my car breaks down (runs out of petrol) when my better half is driving, they have also sorted that. From the people I know who have green flag, I've heard their response/fix times are really slow. Then again, no one tells you if they recive a good service.....
