I am after a set of P1 Rims for my Classic shape Scooby in 18" format, but I think that £382.98 would appear to be a little steep for A SINGLE ALLOY wheel (minis tyres)

There must be a cheaper way out there to purchase them, loads of people have them and I am sure you didn't all pay nearly £400 each for them !

Can anybody help me please as my tyres are nearly ran out and I refuse to buy more rubber for my 16" rims when I dont like them !

Cheers All !

Why not consider 17" P1 Golds. £200 each inc. VAT from Scoob dealers. Might get 10% off if you are a member of SIDC?? Ride will be better with 17s and tyre replacement cost will obviously be substantially cheaper. I thought P1 18s were about £300 ish each inc VAT?

I got my 18's from Wheelbase in Chadderton. £1250
They come with Falken tyres which are more suited to Nova's.
Ask them for a price on wheels alone then call Central Tyre in Middleton for Another thing worth considering is the maximum width tyre is a 215 which doesn't give the rim much protection, unless you can get 18x7 as opposed to 18x7.5
For cheaper tyres and more choice I'd upgrade to 17's without any hesitation, but 18's look mint

Are you talking about the 10 spoke OZ's standard on the P1 ?
I would like a set of 17" in anthracite for my MY99 turbo.
What are they called ? I can't find them on OZ's website.
P1's run on 205/17/45 's what would be the best on my car ?

Sorry for all the questions

Confused Neil

Neil,

The OZ P1s won't be on the OZ site - they were a special produced for Prodrive. 18s seem to be available from a number of sources but I've only seen the 17s at Scoob dealers. They are £200 each inc. VAT (no tyres). Not the lightest of wheels but very strong. Tyre size you need is 215/40/17 (available in Toyo, Goodyear, Bridgetone, etc) or 205/45/17 (Pirelli etc.)

Cheers,

Ian.
