I have installed an AFR since a couple of weeks now because I am having a slight hick-up when driving slowly in 2nd or 3rd gear (2500-3000 rpm). Thought that maybe the O2 sensor might be causing this.
When the car is cold, everything is ok...AFR dances up and down. However, when I have driven the car for > 20 min and it's really warmed up I sometimes get a 'stuck' AFR (stuck at one led position) or several leds lighting up at the same time (still going up and down). Sometimes, it changes back to normal operation, sometimes not. I am pretty sure that the AFR is wired correctly (signal from ECU, ground directly from battery).
My MAF sensor and plugs have been replaced recently.
Can this phenomena be caused by a knackered O2 sensor ? I always thought that a broken O2 sensor would cause stuck at readings only.

Someone have any similar experience or thoughts ?

Thanks,
Pim.

The short answer is that if the MAF is not working properly it WILL screw up the fuel ratios.

See thread by andybrucefenton, this may help you.
