View Full Version : spring rates for STi 5 za-sti 19 December 2002, 13:52 would anyone know these or how to get them Cheers Za JIM THEO 19 December 2002, 14:15 224FRONT 185REAR (pounds per inch) and is best compromise in my opinion between ride quality and performance. My Prodrive professional kit - if I remember right - had the same rates front/rear. JIM za-sti 19 December 2002, 15:02 cheers Jim, looks like the STi up-rated set by Graham Goode at 151 Front and 162 rear (lbs/inch) are not actually up-grades for the STi 5. Happy with handling but want the car to sit lower. kevy1975 19 December 2002, 17:43 You and me both then !!! I have an sti5 and want to go lower, the ride is already quite hard but dont like those big gaps under the arches !! let me know how you get on, I am thinking about whitelines -45mm Best regards, kevin za-sti 20 December 2002, 11:31 Kevin, latest advice from Graham Goode was to go for Eibachs??? Tone Loc 20 December 2002, 11:43 Here's my car with STi V dampers and Pi springs. Gets rid of the the gap between arch and the tyre (more so at the front). The rid is quite firm and has got rid of some of the roll. I'be been told the springs are ****e compared to Eibachs but i've got not complaints. http://upload.turbosport.co.uk/getpic2.asp?File=200212198537666862.jpg Tony. |
