Question

When viewing some topics the text disappears off the right hand side of my monitor and I have to use the bar which appears at the bottom to move it leftwards so that I can read it - it only does it with some topics and the rest are fine. Is there some way I can do a screen wrap or whatever to correct this? Thanks for any help.

Raymond (Not very good at this sort of thing !)

It happens when people like Mr Cookie types replies to Dave T-S postings and uses very long words like;

ppppppppppplllllllleeeeeeaaaaaaasssssssseeeeeeeee! !

Hope you are now suitably enlightened !

It happens for me when people type a long para with no <cr>'s in.

But only if I have the favourites/history thingy at the left of the screen enabled. If you get rid of that the text wraps properly.

In fact typing this reply I have a scroll bar that goes away if I get rid of the favourites thingy.

"Feature" in IE5?

Cheers

Simon

PS Simon/Mr Cookie, did I see your car parked on the pavement outside Kings Court today? I think it was yours. How's the squash going?

PPS Editing this to say bet the you suffer the lost text thing with the text in the PS!

Sensible head on now for me it appears to be on threads started by certain people, could this mean some like they use a bigger desktop size than most or cookies unabled.

Sorry if i've confused the issue, but I've shortened the long word I typed previously as I was fed up using the scroll bars the read all the replies to this post.

That is why it all fits on one screen now without scrolling.

Cool

Carolyn also forgot to mention we have a 19" monitor and it doesn't cause such a problem bcos it is wider.
