XP interfering with CD Creator. Can i disable XP CD Burning?

1> Press on the Start Button at the bottom left of your Desktop !

2> Goto Run and when it opens copy and paste or just type in

" %SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc /s "

Without the speech marks . Then press OK.

3> Scroll down to "IMAPI CD-Burning Com Service" and double click on it.

4> When it opens Select Disabled then select OK and close the Service Window and then reboot your Computer and Hey Presto it is Gone !!!

5> But if at any time you want to enable it (Which I would never Do) all you need to do is reverse the procedure and select Manual or Auto.

I cannot copy files over to my CD-RW as windows trys to take over the operation from CD Creator.

I have tried using Explorer, (drag & drop) as i was able to do this before - it doesn't do it anymore.........gggrrrrrrrrrr.

I have tried using CD Creator and this has confilcts with the windows burning software.

Help me before by beloved dell gets launched out the window.......................
