Cool

Just realised I have was never given the PIN number to my alarm on my UK MY99. Do you have to go back to a dealer to get it reset or can you do it yourself. I have got the alarm manual and there is no mention of how to do it.

Thanks,

Nick

It is on a very small piece of stick-backed grey plastic. Easily overlooked. Your dealer should be able to get the number for you.

Hey Nick ... got the same problem with mine, thought it was going to be all sorted today as i had a spare key programmed in and had asked dealer to get the pin number for the alarm from IM, i had phoned them myself but they said they will only give this out through a main dealer.. fair enough.
Anyway got the key done no probs, and the guy gave the "pin number" ... not sure what the number is he gave me but it has 16 digits in it!!, so definately NOT the pin number ... this thread may help you

I'll keep you posted as to how i get on.

I recall that the "pin number" is on a little gery/silver sticker.
When I purchased my scoob from new, the dealer had stiuck in down onto the cat 1 certificate.

I recently bought a scoob but the guy didn't know the pin number for the sigma, it is 4 digits.
I went to Lethal Alloys in Crawley 01293 427407 and the guy there 'Chris' reprogramed the keypad for me for £12.50.
You must take both keyfobs with you.

Thumbs up

had the same problem - original dealer who sold car called me back in 10 mins with the pin.

there was a thread a few weeks back where someone had the pin reset keypad sequence - had to mail them to get it. cant remember their name tho. shouldnt be too hard to find....
