Is it correct that DL no longer accept the Tracker Retrieve ?

What if you are already insured with them and had it fitted to comply last time ? What happens come renewal time, do you have to upgrade to Monitor More expense ?

Evolution - you may have problems with renewal next year. I spoke to a manager from Direct line and he said cause they are changing their policy now, they can offer renewals as its such short notice but next year, they wont! Pain in the ****!

Same happened to me with my 1997 UK Turbo:

Now insured with Subaru Insured + very happy.

Call Dean on 0870 770 6220 or email enquiries@subaruquotes.co.uk

PS I have Tracker Monitor and there was no problem.

PPS Tracker Retrieve "upgrade" approx £690.00.

Wink

I know!

A friend of mine fits Tracker/phones etc and said that is the cost of an "upgrade" to an existing monitor - perhaps "upgrade" is a bit misleading - you buy a whole new bit of kit...........decided not to go down that road and moved to new insurance company.

Tracker Monitor is £450 dealer fit (or third party on their behalf) I believe.

What annoys me most is that I had Retrieve fitted so as to insure with DL who were £200 cheaper than my then insurer Norwich Union.
I have since learned that I could have gone to Liverpool Victoria for around £500 less and with NO tracker
