Squizz and I have got tickets coming and his dad is taking the yellow monster (you'll see)... anyhow I don't think we have arranged anything yet but meeting at Strensham would make a sensible suggestion for us Worcester guys and then meet at the pub by CC on the way down again.. So I'll let you know on this post what times etc. I'll think we'll get there for fairly close to the beginning.......

 

we've been talking about getting to the Crosshands (like last time) for 8.40am (ish)...

 

Had an email asking if I was going....tempted....but.....I am off up to Scotland......

I'll be going to the Rally day, we'll see what we can organise for the Worcester boyz at the meeting on Sunday.

Meeting at Crosshands seems like a good plan to me though!

Depending on numbers meeting from Worcs, (me included) Strensham may not be good place to meet up on a Saturday morning during holiday season - all those tetchy drivers getting in the way in the car park cos their passengers are getting fed up "are we nearly there yet?" etc.

and of course there's caravans, trailers, the AA selling rescue cover,......

We have agreed that the Worcester guys meet in the COACH side of Strensham services at 8am....

The SW guys it will be at the cross hands or what ever it's called about 9 probably... (a bit earlier if we leave at 8!!!!!

I'm going on the Saturday now, leaving it a bit last minute as was supposed to be away on business.

Emailed Brian at rallyday to see if I can get in the paddock, slim chance though I think. Any spare tickets for this at all?

Will be coming from Northampton, so most direct way will be via Oxford.

Looks like I'll be driving my dads Yellow TR7V8 to get it there in time to join the MG X-Power group in the paddock. (He works nights, so will join us all later). Karen will probably drive my scoob

The car's booked in for a track session and I've yet to discover if there's a driver's briefing, etc.

When I know more about the timings thanks to info from X-Power, I'll let you know.

It does exist if you stay off the beers the night before (well sometimes).

Directions will most likely be A43, M40, A34, A420 (Swindon), M4 (J17), unless I fancy some mad driving which at that time in the morning will probably be unlikely.
