Nissan 300ZX TT
How do you all rate the 300ZX Twin Turbo?
My mates just treat himself, I went for a ride today, How fassssst?
I'm impressed with it, silky smooth, shame about the door wedge look!!
Having not been/driven a Scoob, How would you compare them?
Performance wise? Driveability?
Do I go for 300ZX, 200SX or Scoob?
Cheers

Check out www.300zx.co.uk
These are excellent performance cars but it depends what you want from your car?
On good twisty roads, even a sport will leave a 300zx (and im not joking here either!) but on the straights a modified 300zx will eat you alive
Standard form, a grey import Scoob will be quicker than a std 300zx tt, but for individuality, the 300zx does stand out a little and those engines are very strong and good to modify.
If your after an out and out all round car, good on straights, good on twisties, good in both wet and dry then the scoob is the one, the 200sx isnt really the best car in the pack and id forget about it if i was you as the 300zx tt really does kick its ***
and there is also lots of tuning mods for the 300zx's, you need to look for grasshopper pro sport on 300zx forum and speak to Johnny (great bloke with an awesome 300zx tt
)

Well ive wasted a 200sx, and that was the turbo one!
not a problem
the 300zx in standard form is heavy so a scoob has the advantage of power to weight and also corners much better, now a modified 300zx is something else! (but only in a straight line
)

What.. they only have the turbo ones in UK
No problem hey, granted a scoob is fast off the line but once rolling I would eat you up, all the way to 155mph

What your car only goes to 155mph
id say you wouldnt stand a chance, nice car but too heavy and with too much of a gap to catch up and a better power to weight in a scoob you will be lucky (everyone says they can catch a scoob after 100mph, no ones caught mine so far
)

Check out The Knowledge in Evo, they reckon the 300ZX is one of the best drivers cars to come out of Japan. I would swap my Scoob for one anytime, if I didn't need 4 doors & a decent boot.
mattn your dreaming m8 200sx moded. a sti type r would annihilate it. a 300 which i love would be slow of the line and catch up midrange pass over 100ish and then die on the CORNERS!!!
NOT WISHING TO RUBISH A NISSAN 3OO BECAUSE I WANTED ONE FOR YEARS BY THE TIME I COULD AFFORD ONE THEY WERE TO OLD SO I GOT

Er,
They do corner, one of the top handlers of the last 15 years, only differnece between a 300 and a Scoob, the Scoob flatters poor driving, 300 will end up in a hedge.
Standard 280 bhp with tiny boost pressure, crank it up and you soon have 400 bhp for small outlay.
And you get to look lik Knightrider, a1l for 3 grand !
