So the order with Coopers Colchester was placed 7 months and was going nowhere, I had a tip off that Vines in Redhill had been given an extra allocation, so a quick phone call to them confirmed matters.........Coopers now cancelled and deposit refunded. Vines have so far been brilliant. So much so that after less than 2 weeks I've just received my VIN number and a allocation for week 52 2016.
They did have a waiting list but nobody on it was in a position to be able to proceed with the order as quickly as they needed or as quickly as I could.
4 weeks and it should be on my drive

It was a cancelled order, so I didn't get to choose the spec. It has a few things I wouldn't have bothered with and one it doesn't have that I would have (memory seats), but it's a nice spec overall. I really like the sunroof because it lightens the cabin up, so would recommend it, even though I wouldn't have ordered it myself. Heated wheel is great too!
LBB
DCT
Sun protection package
Visibility package
Harman Kardon
Online entertainment
Sunroof
Steering wheel heating
Lumbar support
Seat heating
Driving assistant
Comfort access
Rear camera
Speed limit display

Very similar spec to mine (including the heated wheel)
I didn't bother with the electric memory seats or sunroof though.

Very nice
LBB looks different in every picture I've seen. Luckily I've seen a couple in the metal.
I'm adding M Performance Carbon rear diffuser, rear spoiler, side gills and kidney grills. Just waiting on Vines to get a price I'm happy with

Love these cars... I am gently jealous.
I am biding my time until they release a BMW M12.
(Because I have the perfect plate for one!)

I did attempt to find the perfect M2 plate but It's already been issued, as have all the decent M2 prefix plates

Where did that price come from?
Mines just over £50k with a good spec and a load of M Sport carbon bits

ID never pay £72k for an m2. You could get so much more for your money. £50k fair enough, but still a lot.

Mr clarkson had very good opinion of this compared to the m4. So I can see this being a cracker.

Yeah he loved it. But he also said that it was not that much faster than a type r.

Well it is a smaller engine to the m4, but he said it just works better and the handling is better also.
Not always about outline speed.

I can imagine it handles a lot better than an m4 because it's a smaller car. But for £52k I'd expect it too be a lot faster than a type r even if you don't use the power.

Catback and a remap should see some nice gains
