So I finally got round to fitting these this weekend.
I used the rally armor fitting video to gauge the front clip insertion and the rest was a fairly straight forward case of following the supplied instructions (although I managed to misuse the large washers a couple of times, as you can see in the final image below). The only other thing I would advise is a quality metal drill bit for the self tapping screws and plenty of patience.

No mate, the newage (2001-2007) wings have premoulded mudflap holes in the wing which are fitted with plastic removal screws to allow for future installation of mudflap clips - checkout the rally armor fitting video on their website to see what I mean. The only drilling required is a small insertion into the metal frame where the mudflap support meets behind the wheel arch. I'll try and get a picture up for you. If you don't fancy drilling, then rally armor flaps might be your preferred choice as they fix to all premoulded fixings.

Note the two self tappers at the far left of the fixing bracket (furthest into the arch), that's where you drill (now covered in waxoyl to protect from the elements):
