Stretched tyres on low widetrack blob/hawkeye sti
First of all hi everyone just joined scoobynet
Im also a member of NESF and SIDC
I have a black 55 plate blob sti which ive owned for 2 years.
looking for some advice before I fit my new Rota's, trying to keep the car as low as possible so it looks right, but also trying to avoid any scrubbing which is probably a impossibility with wide wheels! Wheels are rota force drift, not 100% sure on exact size/offset as I can't find the stamp/stamps dont relate to wheel size! but from my measurements they are 18x9 et27 with 225/40/18 tyres, was previously fitted to a Evo 8!
My blob has BC racing coilovers with standard sti ARB's and bushes, is it worth upgrading the ARB's to reduce the body roll more or will stiffening the coilovers up a bit do the same job?
thought I'd ask the question from people in the know to put my mind at ease as I've only fitted but not tried it out yet.
I'm used to putting wide wheels on a raised land rover so not usually a problem
Thanks
Mike

Had them fitted for a few days now and no problems at all, not even when hard cornering! Removed the lip on rear arches and stiffened up the coilovers. Definitely happy
