Default WRX 93.

hey guys first time on the forums wanted to say hi and dive right into the discussions.

ive got a 93 wrx. and the brakes are like cheese after a few mods.

can anyone give me some advice on what brakes i can use?

where to begin

depends on budget and the wheels you have

1.you could just fit some super duper pads in the standard 93 calipers

2.You could start by going for the 4 pots from the later models and go to 2 pots on the rear, this will require new discs as well all round plus a minor adjustment to the rear backing plate to allow the disc to fit.

3.if you have deep pockets, some K Sport front calipers and some brembo rears would do nicely.

4.or not so deep pockets, bremob fronts and rears with discs

but again, some adjustments are required, wheels/offset etc come into play

others more knowledgable will be along but what i said above is a good starting point

its got standard alloys on at the moment. will that hinder the 4pots?
