Thoughts on these brakes please
Hi,
Needing new rear disc's and pads soon because they are getting low and discs are lipped so been having a little look around. I've been told when i change the rears i will need to change my front pads at the same time because they are getting low as well.
The car is only used by my wife to get to and from work but i am planning on going to the ring at the end of July.....
Whats peoples thoughts on these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMP...ht_2309wt_1037
Or am i better off getting some standard rear disc's and some blue stuff front and rear pads ???
Cheers Chris

Worth getting a quote from Ian @ Godspeed Brakes. I've looked at simliar sets on eBay for mine, but with the amount of good reviews Godspeed have, I'm going to go down that route. Plus they're cheaper which is a Brucey Bonus!

Tbh those ones above aren't a bad price so if Godspeed can better them then that's a bonus like you say .
The car doesn't get hammered around a track so doesn't need anything to fancy...

Hi
We can offer you our grooved only discs with black painted centres to stop them going rusty , and our kevlar sport pads for £250 plus £15 P&P , we don't offer drilled discs anymore as with the pads are so much better now , the heat that they can generate can cause cracking around the holes on a drilled disc.
Our discs also come with a 12 month guarantee against warping even of you do track days
Cheers Ian

Ok mate, that's very reasonable.
What about if I was to go from standard rear disc (my fronts are in good condition) but some upgraded pads ??
Sorry to be a pain ...

We don't sell standard discs , only grooved , but with your use , you would be better going for a softer pad along with grooved discs , for front and rear bluestuff pads alone your talking £240 , then the cost of discs , the most cost effective route , and would better suit your needs and driving style is the grooved disc and kevlar package
