How's it going folks does anyone know of a good wheel refurbishing shop in Scotland cheers

Depends where you are. If in ayrshire then carrick engineering beside prestwick airport do a reasonable job.

From Prestwick originally now in Mallaig [Highlands] going down 2 see the folks in june will go and check it out cheers 4 the info bud.

hey there - not so sure id want refurbed wheels on my scoob after seeing the number of members (here and other scooby forums) who have suffered from cracked wheels since x-mas - common denominator seems to be the refurb process (paint baking etc?) - difficult to spot a crack on the inside too until the wheel explodes personally id have never given using refurbed wheels a second thought before reading that lot

ill try find the last few posts i read on it... some had pics too.. wherever they were...

there's loads of folk that have had wheels refurbed and not had problems. Guess it depends on the numptie operating the oven at the time.
