Default Bigger Discs or Bigger Calipers?

What really makes the most difference, Ive got 300mm 4 pots, would i be better off with a 355mm disc and the 4 pots or a 330mm and 6 pots?

Number of pots = pedal feel
Disc diameter = stopping power
pots square cm = brake performance power.

Why not have the best of both:

355 x 32mm disc with 6 pots. Though you'll need 18" wheels to clear!
