Question

Experiencing some juddering when braking from 50 mph plus. Only just started since last week. Recently fitted subaru 4 pots/ discs/pads 2nd hand, no probs for about a month then last thursday had wheels re balanced that is when problem started.
Checked all bolts etc..
Anyone any more ideas?? could the discs be warped and what are the reasons for brake judder? any advice would be grateful
Cheers' CRAFT

Unhappy

I had a problem like that and it was caused by an apprentice balancing the wheels - except he actually unbalanced them!I suggest getting the balance rechecked (at a different place!)

IMHO
Perhaps warped disks or badly (no offence) fitted disks. Had my disks changed recently and the chap who did them spent some time cleaning the face of the hub and the new disks before fitting.
Could be warped, this would normally get worse the hotter the disks get.
unlikely to be wheel balance as this would not be affected by braking, it would it it @ x mph under any conditions.
