Wheel Width for 04 WRX

hello all, i have currently got the factory standard 17's on my blob wrx. Currently shopping around for some new 18" alloys and many that i like either 8 or 8.5 wide.From what i have read looks like anything up to 8.5 will be OK and will not require arch roll or cause rubbing issues. is anyone able to confirm this for me ? (if it helps the car is on standard suspension soon to be on pedders (30mm lower)

I'm running 9.5j but obviously I'm rolled and cambered. I believe you will get away with 8.5 depending on the wheel offset (et).

If you go on google and search "will they fit" you'll find a handy website which should help a lot.
