Default Not very impressed with HEL products

I ordered a set of brake lines for my 2017 sti as the car will be used on track as I thought they had a descent reputation. I bought the lines through a trader who will be know to many on here, will have used before and have a great attitude to customer service.
I received the brake lines and booked the day off to have them fitted today. Once I arrived and the car was on the ramp with the wheels off the mechanic noticed the bracket that secures them to the strut using a 12mm bolt was not attached. I called the retailers who said they would contact HEL and explain the issue them. The response from HEL after waiting all day seems to be tough you can have a refund or we will make more and send them out.
I took the day off to have these fitted to the car specifically as I have a track day Saturday, it was a 40 mile round trip to the specialist I use, fuel and wasting the mechanics time.
My point behind this post is if you do buy these hoses from HEL then check they are correct so you don't waste your own time and money considering they are hand made. From searching Google and owners forums it looks like i had a lucky escape anyway.

Similar thing happened to me. Ordered a full set of brake hoses explicitly for my 05. Got send a full kit for a 2008+ model. Sent back - Never did get my return postage refunded.

Correct kit arrived with a bracket slightly damaged on one rear hose, they send a replacement, which was for the front! Whole load of time wasted on my behalf, hoses do look good quality mind.

It doesn't suprise me from what has happened today and what I have read on Honda/nissan/brz/ft86 including numerous motorbike websites and on here. I never have wrote a post like this before against a manufacturer but I didn't want anyone to waste time and money having to go through what I did today. Clearly they sell enough not to care about customer service much.

I ordered a clutch line for my Sti Type R, CCK020. Impreza WRX, STI GC8 RHD in the description. They also have a CCK019 for the P1. Why would a P1 have a different line to a Type R?

This is what the hose I got looks like compared to the stock line

Decided to use it anyway as it would work with the 6 speed slave cylinder but that slave turned out to be faulty so I went back to my original 5 speed slave cylinder making this hose useless.

They were very friendly and offered me a free replacement asking for the measurements for the OEM hose but now it's been two weeks and I haven't received anything (I know I'm in Sweden and it's sent from the UK but nothing has ever taken over two weeks). The replacement must have been lost in the post or something but I'm thinking of ordering a hose from another place or just using the original rubber line instead. Luckily it's a project car.
