Default Classic with Seperleggeras and STI Brembo's - Spacers???

Need help guys!

I really wanna fit gold STI brembos to my classic with 17" superleggeras. Have sourced a pair of reconditioned calipers. Am now pretty sure they wont go under the 17" Oz Superleggeras, but cant properly check without the correct discs which I dont wanna buy until I know I can get the calipers to clear!

Have looked at the option of a spacer, but problem is the wheel centers on the hub, plus the studs will be too short for enough thread engagement. Does anyone have experience of using spacers without getting wheel centering / balance Problems?

I'm thinking at this stage I'd be better off getting rid of the Brembo calipers and going for the Godspeed setup for a grand.

Ahhhhh!!!!

Cheers guys, your experience is much much appreciated. Any clearance issues with the wheel arch with 10mm spacers? I'm running 215x40x17s and have Standard ride height with STI springs and adjustable Konis.

Thanks again, James
