Thumbs up 17x9j et20 all round (new age)

Hi guys

Looking at some wheels for my new age which have the above specs. I am looking to avoid bolt on arches if I can, has anyone run similar specs?

Camber bolts? Tyre sizes? Hsd coilovers currently fitted

Any help would be great, I have seen a few similar threads but none about a 9j low et wheel

Thanks

Hi there

Its depends on car,but on new age you shouldn't have issue to run 9JX17" ET20 on new age,on classic you can have issue as you will need to run ABW arches, maybe more camber will helps, but still think you need to run ABW arches on classic, not on New age

We are run 255/40 R17 with 9JX17 ET20 on our wagon without the issue,we are run pretty much same camber settings, just we are raised at back ride height which I think you will need to raise a bit at back ride height

Now about the recommendation,I would go with any good coilovers on which you can adjust camber at front and rear and ride height and please search about their issues and mainly if they're comfortable etc

Camber bolts you will need to use at front and rear, depends on yours settings, but think around -2.00 camber you will need to run at front and at back depends on yours preference

Tyre size again depends on yours settings and camber which you will be running,I would suspect something like 245/40 or 255/40 or even 265/40 will be best to run,but we are run Toyo R888 255/40 R17 with Drag DR31 9X17"

Depends how low you are mate. If you want to run really low, I suspect you'll need an arch roll. And probably a slightly stretched tyre like a 215/40. But if you run a bit higher than that then you should be able to increase the tyre width a bit to a 225 or 235.
