Default 2 x Bridgestone Potenza RE070 225/45R17 - unused

I bought two pairs of these a while ago, for my 2003 STi - but have now sold the car and only used one pair - so have this pair of completely unused RE070 tyres for sale. Still have the Bridgestone labels on them, and are in the same condition as when they were delivered to me.

PRICE REDUCED TO: £100 for the pair - plus postage/courier at cost, or collection from Swindon Wilts.

I've not seen them that cheaply (£91 each on Black Circles) - but willing to drop to £100 + delivery at cost (or local pickup) for SN

Maybe the fact they're 10 years old is putting people off?

I bought them about 4 years ago - and fitted two to my car last year.

They've been stored in the dark (as it's sunlight that affects them over time) and are in excellent condition.

Don' think there 10 years old. I can see what you mean by the stamp but I'm pretty sure that' not the date Stamp The date stamp usuall only have 4 numbers in it's own circle so to speak

can you send more photos of the sidwall and see if there is a different date stamp on it

As above. The date stamp is on its own entirety. Never seen it mixed with other letters or numbers and been a tyre fitter for while.

have seen that code on tyres before and mistaken it for a date code before.

however I am interested in thrm as away to buy 4 new ones for 278 delivered .a couple spare wouldn't hurt.

if you'
Go as low as 80 and I'll arrange courier drop me a pm

cheers

I’ve looked and there’s nothing else that looks like a 4 digit date code - so can only assume that that is it.

Week 19 / 08 - so not quite 10 years.

Doing some googling, properly stored and unused tyres can last indefinitely. Having them on the car and exposed to the elements means that they have a useful life of 6-10 years thereafter.

We all know how quickly an Impreza can get through tyres - so I don’t see too much of an issue.

Anyway - they are what they are... and £100 on here. I’ll put them on fleabay at the weekend.
