Im on the hunt for parts to rebuild a v1 sti cdb ,im keeping the center thrust crank ,and already have
rcm oil pump
water pump
but thought id put this post up before purchasing anything else ,in case anybodys had a change in direction and has any new parts spare .
rods good for 600+(not to fussed what brand)
pistons (mahle or cossie preferred)
Arp head studs
acl bearing kit (main and big end)
Full timing belt kit
full gasket kit to suite v3 (-head gaskets and front crank seals)
new oe block case bolts
The v1 long engines being fitted to a my97 UK turbo( so anything from inlet up will be v3 )

I have a closed deck block with forged mahle pistons had new timing belt kit water pump arp head bolts 11mm roger clark 12mm oil pump complete with v6 head £500

 

if you'd have had the pistons and studs new in the box id have had those off you
but iv already got ported v1 sti heads and a good cdb at the machine shop awaiting a hone (hence why i haven't put specific piston sizes on here yet)

No worrys bought the engine to replace mine one when it blows but need the cash to be honest
