whats you mods mate
im running md321t / headers/ full decat / fmic / lateral modded injectors / avcr (im not running a fpr)
more important question is - what are you expecting your injector duty cycle to be running at on 650's
mines running 73% on lateral modded 858's
my meth map might push that upto 85 - 90 % but still not maxxing them out
if your going 20g etc i wouldnt worry about it
hope this helps

what turbo are you going for?
is it a newage STI (with avcs)?
you might want to think about an apexi avcr & clutch / flywheel upgrade
also if goiin over 400 tubular headers with harveys special uppipe (better spool of turbo) heat wrapped
under 400 ported sti headers (harvey does this in exchange)
650's would be fine if your going 20g / md321h
i believe dunx maxed his pinks out on an md321h
if going bigger i.e md321t i would seriously consider lateral modded 858's
they do an exchage process (buy marks modded injectors with discount if you give him your old ones back)
then you are quite safe if you ever want to turn up the power (then you might want to think about an fpr (i.e > 475 bhp)
some people might say different but this is what ive done and my injectors are sitting at 70 ish % (nowhere near max)
hope this helps

hi mate
the headers are a requirement as the standard (even ported cannot cope with over 400 bhp)
do a search on which ones would be best
harvey does them gt spec 2 (his custom fabbed uppipe give earlier spool)
but the tubular headers are to do with power and heat etc

650cc injectors probably cost the same as 800cc injectors or whatever so getting the right injectors for 450 bhp and you can avoid the cost of an FPR. However, from first hand experience we know that 650cc injectors can max out an MD321T on a particular installation we did recently.
Looking at it another way, with a quality FPR there won't be any doubt that a set of 650cc can run the MD321 power level regardless so it could be an insurance policy.
