Default Gearbox TY754VN2AA needed asap

I have a 51 plate wrx which i have owned for about four weeks and
now the gearbox has decided to give up, rung around a few people
and they said my best bet is to post a topic on here so all help will
be appreciated.

I have one that is a Transmission code is TY754VN1AA.
dont know if this will be any use to you?

Been told its a different ratio and will only last 20 mile lol

Sam,

when it comes to different gearboxes obviously you want to try and replace with an exact match to what you had.

however if you do decide to go down the route of putting something different in then just either make sure your rear diff ratios match the gearbox ratios and then it'll be fine, or just buy a gearbox and rear diff as a pair.

Hi Sam, I have just swapped my bugeye 5 speed for a 6 speed. What are prepared to pay for a low milage strong box. Thx, Richard

There is little difference between the 754VN1AA and 2AA the diff ratio's are exactly the same. I have a 754VN2AA gearset that is mint if you want to rebuild your own box.
