I looking for a standard airfilter box for my 98 Impreza sport.
I took ownership of the car 10wks ago, and it came with a cheap aftermarket cone filter (infront if the sensor), not only does it look ****, its makes a terrible humming noise and my mechanic says i losing 1-2 hp.
Someone told me not to use a turbo filter box?

Why is that

I want to have car rolling road tuned, but i'm having a hard time finding a sport filterbox.

Also, any recomendations for the best panel filter to go with. The only other mods to the car is a scorpion back box.

Help please......

 

bung on a electronis supercharger, i got 1 on mine runs great, i got a spare one laying around here somewhere new in a box, if you interested,
