Having looked under my car on the ramps, here's what you need to do to make an impreza one fit:
Add 40mm just before the DP/centre flange.
That's pretty much it, if you add it at the front end, the rear hanger and flange meet up fine.
If you have a "power flow" exhaust centre near you, I would think they can add the section in.
