Good welders for arch replacement in South Wales
Apologies for the non-Impreza thread...
I'm getting my track day Mk2 Honda CRX back on the road. The read arches need replacing and one of the sills needs a very small patch. Does anyone have good experiences with local "craftsmen" that can cut out old rusty arches and weld in new replacements?
I've tried car-tec in Briton Ferry (Neath) but they are too busy with a Porsche restoration. There's Old School Engineering but they will want to do an A1 job on the car that'll cost more than the rest of the car is worth. So I'm looking for one of those hidden gem type of welders that may want a small private job on the side
I'm tempted to do the work myself but my welding isn't the best so I'd rather leave the work to the pro's.

. I've got a Clarke welder & a garage but limited welding talent. I'm working away during the week (Salisbury) so need a relatively swift turnaround with limited time, hence the desire to leave it somewhere for a week to get sorted.
