Looks good. It's a shame you're not back in the Scooby fold, but it's nice to try other cars while you can. Drop Dean a message, he can give you some info on ownership.

Love that Lee mate, toyed with the idea of getting one myself a couple of times before getting the scoob, and before having the little boy of course!! For a jap car they have a high quality feel to the finish compared with a lot of other jap cars I have owned or looked at.

Yep, notfub. He's had his for a while now, had to pay out for a few parts so can give you an idea of the day to day costs.

Nice car Lee

Check the rad fans are working, they fail every 40/50k. Was the flywheel changed along with the clutch? Has it been UpRev'd? (remapped). Is it still on the original exhaust (can't tell in the pics)?

Mine is also a GT spec but has the "touring" alloys. On 68k now and not let me down at all apart from overheating in traffic on the M4 last summer (rad fan motor failure). My front bumper has plenty of stonechips on it now though so was going to pop up to OSE for a quote on a front end respray

hi fella hows things not sure about the flywheel change i would have to look through the history but everything seems to work well at the moment and hope it will stay like it too

not sure if it has been up rev'd and not sure how i would know either but i do know it has a scorpion exhaust from cat back

and loving all the gadgets to play with and the built in shift light thats standard

£1377!!! Wow, guess I got off lightly at £800 for OEM Dual Mass flywheel and Exedy clutch at Horsham Developments Newbury (zed specialists). The Scorpion sounds nice too Lee. I've got a *******ised DC Sports on mine after the original rusted through.

The uprev remap (around £400'ish) will remove the factory limit on revs in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears as well as upping the power and torque across the rev range. While not giving massive power, (around 14bhp on mine) it does improve the car across the rev range, making it feel far more alive.

Nothing replaces the buzz of a 300+bhp impreza, thrusting towards the redline though. I miss it.....quite a lot......shame the STI Hatch's have poor engines or I might have been tempted.
