Godspeed brakes
Hey guys, i was just wondering what the general consensus around godspeed brakes are? as im starting to become tempted by his grooved disc/kevlar pads deal, even though ive only done 10/11 k on my current set :/ worth the plunge?

Scoobysteve got it spot on. Discs are superb. He does'nt order cheap sets in bulk and flog them off,he has all the lathes and cnc milling equipment to ensure top quality products are sold on to the customer, Really nice guy as well. Thats why he's so busy.
Can personalize the discs by painting the hubs black (stops them rusting) which is a must.
I've got his kevlar pads on mine and although they do the job very well without fading, i wish i'd paid the extra and got the EBC blue pads for more initial bite.
You only need to check out his feedback. Top brakes,Top guy.

I agree with the above, I have the kevlar pads in mine, I dont use it much and they do feel a bit wooden untill you get some heat in them, Nothing wrong with them but if you can afford it get better pads, Ian is very helpfull and puts out some good products..
He comes Well recomended..

I've got Ian's two part discs up front along with his mounting brackets for my AP calipers, plus his rear STi discs as well.
He helped me out recently when I had a major problem and came good and spent virtually a whole day sorting out someone else's f*ck up.
I've got nothing but praise for Godspeed Brakes, as for pad choice it all depends on your driving style.

Ill definatly go to him when i make the decision, i see what you guys mean for pad choice but im not running any power upgrades and the brakes are standard at the moment so even kevlar pads would be an improvmet
