right guys i bought an rb5 2 wks back,the boost controller wasnt working,i cant get it working so im going to take it out,the prob i have its only boosting 0.7 to 0.8 max ,there is a vf23 on it ,if i buy a new actuator will this increase the boost or will the ecu stop it it has fmic on it .Aint got the money for a remap at the mo,so what is the best thing to get some more boost as the turbo isnt breaking as sweat cheers,will the controller do this as i cant get it too work ?is it lowering the boost?? what does an rb5 boost at normally,like i said it has a vf23,,fmic,

My advice would be to wait until you're ready to get a remap before jacking the boost up especially if the car already has mods

0.8 is standard boost Lom. Yes the boost controller can up the boost, but as Ryan said, its not advisable without checking the fueling at least.

no worries tayl just ordered a 1.2 bar actuator if she blows ,,she blows lol
