There was a dark blue classic sport in halfway car sales Llanelli a little while back. Paint was very tatty and I think it had a bottom end knock. If I remember correctly it owed him £600. Not sure whether it's still there but worth a look.

You should be able find one, I bought my sport 2.0 as a project to do with my dad on the cheap, paid 625. fitted 2 bearings, full new rear sub frame thats evil normally really corroded. new bush new shoes new discs caliper upgrade new pads new master cylinder new tryes now it looks ace probably cost 500 to do up, changed the bonnet to sti8 changed the spoiler. So you should be able to do a project for 1500.

One word of advice if its sorn etc you cant tow it, even solid metal bar. took 6pts and an in10 of the *******s

If you know what your doing the entire project can be done in the same ammount of money that some people, possibly you but what do I know, spend on getting the brakes done or a major service or something.

Proof: My car came with a £800 receipt think it was pads discs, shoes and possibly lines the latter being a ballache.
We did caliper conversion pads shoes discs for £100. That was using upgraded parts too.
