From: Hunting down door dinger's in south wales..
Question which panel filter..??

Been thinking of getting a replacement after market panel filter, with there being so many to chose from anyone recomend a particular one..

K&N or Green hybrid filter if you want a reusable oiled filter or Cosworth or STi filter for a dry type filter.

Not another one who believes the Subaru urban legend about oiled air filters leading to MAF failures.

The only reason there would ever be a problem would be due to the filter being saturated with oil, if it is properly (very lightly) oiled so that it is barely even felt when touching the filter then that is how they are supposed to be.

I run a cosworth one. Had it for a year now and no issues. I recomended it.

Had six Scoobs now and used either HKS Hybrid or K&N. Never had a problem.

Funnily enough I was wondering the same thing 2 weeks ago.

Went to rallyday.... found 1x K&N panel filter....JOB DONE

Had a k&n in mine since i bought it (it has been cleaned) no problem. Although for the best power gains go for the Do-Luck one from Sumo power
