After two weeks away and finding out off BT that the lightning had fried my router my new home hub 2 came to-day

Its plug and play and I've now got a genuine 7 meg flowing so its a a hell of a lot quicker now.
Going to take some time to catch up on past events but,
Its good to be back

I too have just returned from an internet-free home life following my recent house move (about 3 or 4 weeks only having internet access at work! ) It's like losing a limb

I've just fired up my BT router and I'm getting 8Mbps - in my old house with Sky broadband I was lucky to get 3Mbps

How are you getting 7mb Broadband, I can only get 4mb tops.

 

Dont know but the BT engineer said the exchange is pumping out 8 so to get 7 is good

Just tested mine with Sky, it's on 3.5 at the minute!! It's not too bad though!!
