Does anyone local have a three pin Newage Impreza alternator that is currently spare or not being used, on a dead car, is working and I could borrow? Local to Cardiff but I can get out and about tomorrow after 11-ish.

I need to test a battery to see if it's charging but I have my suspicions the alternator may be a bit twitchy. With the engine running I am only getting 12 volts across the terminals and the battery is draining when running.

I am more than willing to chuck some spanners about to get it off/on if necessary.

Alright mate. If its only to do a test mate and if your stuck il let you take mine off aslong a you can put it back on after you done test
