I have a 02sti ppp and have a knocking sound from the front drivers side, the sounds is exactually the same as worn droplinks,,, but i have changed them and the noise is still there!!! it only happens when drivin slowly and when reversing round a bend with a camber.

Are you sure you have the nuts on the droplinks properly tightened. There's a flat on the shaft next to the ***** but its well fiddly to hold tight while doing up the nut. Any slack here will make a racket.

Yes i have double checked, and all nuts & bolts are tight, i forgot to mention that i have fitted a set of whiteline droplinks to the front, which are secured with a nut & bolt.

Something must be worn. How about roll bar bushes as they are a bit harder to see. Failing that track rod ends or rack.
