Early classic GMAX springs onto a late classic?
I've been looking for lowering springs for my MY98 UK Turbo 2000 wagon for a while. I logged onto eBay today and saw some ending for Impreza Turbo with 2 mins left for quite cheap. I bid without really reading description and won!
Only after the auction I checked GMAX website and they have 2 sets listed, one for 1993-97 and one for 1998-2000. My car is a MY98 facelift Turbo 2000 and the springs are 93-97.
Most other manufacturers list 1993-00.
My question is is there really going to be much of a difference fitting earlier classic springs to my later classic? Is it a fitment difference or a spring rate difference? Anyone have any experience with this?
