Default max front neg camber?

ive fit some new dampers to my 93 wrx. the car is fast road/daily.

ive set the front camber bolts to what i think is max neg camber. reason being i know for sure they will both be the same.

what would this be -2.5? or more as im aware as i need about -1.5

this is just till i get the rears on and go scoobyclinic for a full geo setup.

car feels a little iffy front end at low speed (not responsive and squirmy under braking).

cheers

You will be lucky to see more than 1 degree on the front, the most i could get was about 0.75 degrees.

On the rear I used aftermarket bolts to equalise the camber at about 1 degree 14minutes

With these figures you get good tyre life.

I run 25 rear bar and 22 front.

Handling is great

60 mins to 1 degree, so 15 mins is 0.25 degrees. Standard front camber bolts give about 1.25 deg max AFAIK. More camber and more toe in will make car turn in better at the expense of stability, changing the camber will alter the toe which will need to be readjusted. Perhaps your toe is well out, local tyre service can cope with ordinary toe, I do mine myself with a kit I've made up.
