Hi all,

I am fed up of the hard ride from my coilovers so have bought some KYB struts and Eibach springs. I went to get them fitted and was told I needed the little rubber things that sit on the top of bottom (I am not sure where) of the spring before the spring is fitted onto the strut. I think these are called 'spring seats'?

Trouble is following much searching on the net I can't seem to find any info about these and where I can get hold of a set. Even Bell and Colvill Subaru drew a blank!

Can anyone help me before I lose all my fillings?!

They are literally a rubber platform that the springs rest on. I would ring a Subaru breakers, they should have loads.

 

Tried some scrappies today but no joy! They all want to sell me complete suspension units! Dont want to spend loads just to get a few rubber rings!

Anyone know of any knackered suspension hanging about anyway?

 

Have you tried 'Grade a Subaru' in Derbyshire?
